Get DrDamage addon, it not only shows you the real damage (after modifiers) but also DPCT (dmg per cast time) and DPM (dmg per mana) and whatnot. Pyroblast > Fireball > Fire nova (Or fire blast if it was on CD) pretty much destroyed everything easily.That would work perfectly if there wouldn't be spell modifiers. Here's a nifty calculation, look at the spell information, it'll tell you how much damage the spell will do, take the average of that, and divide it by the time taken to cast the spell. Are you even thinking about damage done? Pyroblast has a long cast time but takes off about half their health. In Classic WoW, the most recommended leveling spec for Mages is Frost.
